Electronic Book Readers: With the advances in technology we now have the arrival of electronic book readers, so we can in fact carry our own library with us wherever we go. These readers allow you to save clippings and organize your notes so they are more than just an electronic reading device.These readers are very convenient and they are actually better for the environment and so easy to take with you where you are travelling.
The only downside would be if you accidently spill coffee on it!

Whether it has LED lighting, a touch screen wireless capabilities and the screen size.
Content
How many book titles are you provided with and how many titles the device can handle.
Value
If you purchase a higher priced reader are you really getting more value and options for your money?
Support
Any electronic device is a potential problem, so does your reader come with tech support and a good warranty?
A good model of reader will have a long battery life and a screen that you are able to read even in bright sunlight. You can extend the life of your battery by simply switching the device off when not in use. Be careful though as the switches can easily be turned on when placing inside your bag or briefcase.
Purchasing a cover for your electronic reader may be worthwhile, as well as preventing the on switch to activate, a cover will help keep the screen scratch free. It is always a good idea to ask friends or co-workers which electronic book readers they have used, as some can be tricky to use, such as bookmarking pages and downloading Google pages to read. While many books can be downloaded and read on your electronic reader there are some books which their authors will just not allow to be made available in this form, stating that their readers prefer to read a regular hard or soft cover book. Whether this will change and the authors relent is hard to say for the near future at least.
The portability and storage being a huge plus of the side of the electronic book reader versus the countless bookshelves you require to store the books at home.As technology develops there will be more advances made in the development of electronic book readers and we are sure to see more features and options being made available even within the coming year.
